Affected by the epidemic situation, textile enterprises generally started late this year, and started work after February 10. The actual start-up rate and the rate of workers arriving at the post are relatively low, and the market purchase and sales have not fully recovered. According to the survey of more than 90 designated textile enterprises conducted by China's cotton early warning system, the inventory of raw materials in textile enterprises decreased, the output of textiles decreased month on month, and the inventory of yarn and cloth decreased slightly.

1、 Textile production decreased month on month

The textile output in February was significantly lower than that of last month. According to the survey, the yarn output fell 71.2% month on month, down 30.4% year on year, of which: pure cotton yarn accounted for 68.2%, down 0.4% compared with the previous month; blended yarn and chemical fiber yarn accounted for 31.8%, up 0.4% compared with the previous month.

Cloth production fell 74.3% month on month, down 34.4% year on year, of which: pure cotton cloth accounted for 1.1% lower than last month. The yarn sales rate was 69.5%, 8% lower than last month.

At present, the finished product inventory of spinning enterprises is 24.15 days, 0.07 days less than last month. The finished product inventory of grey cloth is 29.21 days, 0.24 days less than that of last month.

2、 Price of cotton yarn inside and outside decreased

The price of cotton yarn in and out of this month has declined. According to the survey, the average price of 32 domestic pure cotton yarns in February was 20556 yuan / ton, down 167 yuan / ton, or 0.81%, or 2569 yuan / ton, or 11.10%, compared with the same period last year; the average price of 32 imported pure cotton yarns was 20509 yuan / ton, down 144 yuan / ton, or 0.7%, or 2381 yuan / ton, or 10.4%, compared with the same period last year.

3、 Decrease in raw material inventory of enterprises

This month, textile enterprises gradually returned to work, but the general start-up rate was low, and the demand for raw materials was restrained. At the same time, due to the limited transportation, the normal procurement and circulation were basically restored in late February. As of February 29, the cotton inventory of textile enterprises was 721800 tons, a decrease of 4700 tons compared with the end of last month, a year-on-year decrease of 87500 tons. Among them: 36% enterprises reduced cotton inventory, 15% increased inventory, 39% remained unchanged.

The use of Xinjiang cotton by textile enterprises accounted for 89.54% of the total cotton consumption, a decrease of 0.28 percentage points over the previous month and a year-on-year increase of 14.68 percentage points, including 6.36% of Xinjiang cotton in reserve and 93.64% of Xinjiang cotton in this year.

2. The proportion of real estate cotton used by textile enterprises is 3.02%, an increase of 0.4% compared with last month. Among them: the proportion of reserve real estate cotton is 8.68%, and the proportion of this year's real estate cotton is 91.32%.

3. The proportion of imported cotton used by textile enterprises is 7.44%, which is 0.12% lower than that of last month and 4.76% lower than that of last month.
