Difference between nylon yarn thread and viscose yarn thread

What is nylon yarn thread?

Nylon yarn thread is a term for polyamide fibers (nylon), which can be made into long or short fibers.

Nylon yarn thread is the commercial name of polyamide fibers, also known as nylon.

Polyamide (PA) is an aliphatic polyamide linked by an amide bond NHCO.

What is viscose yarn thread?

The raw material of spun rayon is viscose staple yarn thread fiber. Viscose staple yarn thread fiber is one of the first chemical fibers to be industrialized.

Viscose yarn thread and nylon are both yarns threads, but their uses and characteristics are quite different.

However, these two kinds of yarns threads are widely used.

Today, we will focus on the differences and uses of the two yarns threads, so that you can choose the right yarn thread in the cloth making process.

Advantages of nylon yarn thread:

In terms of toughness and wear resistance, nylon yarn thread is the best one with low density, light yarn thread fabric, good elasticity, fatigue resistance, good chemical stability, and alkali resistance and acid resistance.

The disadvantages of nylon yarn thread:

Daylight resistance is not good, that is to say, it is easy to yellowing in strong sunshine, and the strength decreases, hygroscopicity decreases, hygroscopicity is not good, but compared with acrylic, polyester yarn thread is much better.

Application of nylon yarn thread:

Filament, mostly used in knitting and silk industry, staple fibers, mostly blended with wool or wool-based chemical fibers, as Huada, Vanidine and so on.

In the industrial field, it can be used to make cord, fishing net, carpet, rope, conveyor belt, screen and so on.

Advantages of viscose yarn thread:

The prominent advantage of viscose yarn thread is its hygroscopicity and dyeability. In ordinary chemical yarn thread fibers, its hygroscopicity and dyeability are very good, and its wearing comfort is very high.

Therefore, it is often used in the processing of various clothing.

Defects of viscose yarn thread:

Viscose has poor elasticity, strength in wet state and wear resistance. Therefore, viscose is not washable, dimensional stability is poor, the proportion is relatively large, the fabric is heavier, alkali resistance and acid resistance.

Use of viscose yarn thread:

Viscose yarns threads are used in almost all types of textiles, such as filament lining, beautiful silk, flags, ribbons, tire cord and so on. Short yarn thread fibers can be used for imitating cotton, wool, blending, interweaving and so on.

Through the comparison of the characteristics of viscose yarn thread and nylon yarn thread, we can know that they have great differences and different uses, playing different roles in different fields.

Because of its good hygroscopicity, comfortable wear and excellent spinnability, it is often blended with cotton, wool or various synthetic yarn thread fibers, interwoven and used in various clothing and decorative textiles.

Viscose yarn thread is spun by a series of spinning processes, such as opening and cleaning, carding, drawing, roving, spinning and winding.

Viscose yarn thread feels good and smooth, and is comfortable to wear.
