Mark Beckham, CFDA's vice president of marketing and events, said recently that digital fashion shows could make it easier for fashion shows to adapt to the more hasty schedule.

So far, American designer brands Marc Jacobs and Michael kors have announced that they will not attend New York Fashion Week in September, while Michael kors plans to hold a separate spring 2021 launch fashion show in October this year.
According to reports, CFDA plans to provide its "online resources" for all brands that choose to participate in order to maximize the exposure of the fashion week.
